Quality of Signal to Monitor?

I just bought an ASUS VK266H (25.5 inch) Monitor and I have a couple of issues, first the screen shimmers a bit in some modes and there is detectable motion blur when I move the mouse across a grey surface, also if a window is dragged across the screen the vertical edges of the window tend to ghost or blur. Would replacing the VGA cable with a DVI or HDMI cable help? Or is there a way to fix it through the Video Card software....NVIDIA control panel?|||Definitely give DVI a try. A digital connection tends to be more consistent in image quality.|||I'd say that there is a 93.76% probability that the effects you see are the display's fault.
